Grandparents Sing Original Song For Their New Grandson

I wrote this song for our third grandson, Shiloh Oak, right after he was born– Aug. 11, 2020.

shilohs-song

(Chorus) Shiloh Oak, Shiloh Oak, Bringer of peace, showing where to find hope; Drawing strength from the Lord, Leading others to shelter, in the truth of His Word.

(Verse 1) In the midst of an uncertain world full of questions, At a time full of causes for anxiety; People all longing for good news to hold onto, The Lord showed us His love through a baby… (chor. and two more verses)

The name Shiloh means “Bringer of Peace”. And so he is đŸ™‚Â  We finally got to go visit and meet him a couple of weeks ago and sing this in person to him, his parents, and his two older brothers.  Those brothers are just as special and we sang the songs the Lord gave me for each of them as well.

Children and grandchildren are truly a special blessing from the Lord and I thank Him for giving me this way to speak love into their lives through song! đŸ™‚

Please SHARE this with your friends and family.
