God has answered the prayer of a Virginia grandmother who was using pots and pans to catch falling raindrops through the roof of her house.
The grandmother is raising 5 children and thanks to a nonprofit and a grant funded by Dominion Energy she now has a new roof on her home.
Pastor Tyronne Champion, the director for Community Touch, got to know that Carol Johnson was facing problems with her home and wrote a grant to Dominion Energy who funded it to replace her roof.
“There are not enough words to say about Tyronne, the Champions, or the church itself. But I wouldn’t have any of it without him,” says Johnson.
“God listens, he answers prayers. They may not come when you want them, but they do come. And they may not be what you ask for, you get what you need, and he provides it.”
