The video shows a grandma singing a song for her husband, as he lays immobile on the hospital bed. She playfully runs her fingers on his face, looks at him preciously and serenades him with such love and endearment, one could definitely see it through the short video clip.

It is a beautiful feeling to be loved, cherished and valued. The bond of love is the strongest kind of bond, that we can ever experience. We can see, how much the elderly couple love each other and how important they are to each other.

As much as life is short and fleeting, the most important thing that we could ever accomplished is to love others and love them well, just as God loves us. There is no better gift than the gift of love. In fact, it is the only thing that will last and people always remember how they were treated with love.

There is one kind of love, that is unconditional and gracious. It is the love of God. It is far more than the love of a family or the love we have for our friends. The love that God has for us, supersedes everything we know about love.

God loves us so much that He sent Jesus for us, to save us from our sins and to give us eternal life. Friends, we are fortunate to be loved by God and we are called to love Him with all of our being. It is only fair that we share this love with one another.

The Bible speaks of love in such a simple and profound way; it is clear to every one who reads it that ‘love’ is the central theme. God’s love for us has sustained us this long and it is His desire that we abide in Him and He will abide in us so that we bear much fruits. Without love, whatever good we do or have is useless and meaningless.

The video clip of this sweet elderly couple reminds us how important and necessary, love is. It is that one thing that grows stronger and deeper with time and when nurtured, it keeps us alive and inspired.

Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud or rude. It does not demand its own way. It is not irritable, and it keeps no record of being wronged. Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance. 1 Corinthians 13:4‭-‬5‭, ‬7 (NLT)

Verse of the Day

“So they hurried off and found Mary and Joseph, and the baby, who was lying in the manger. When they had seen him, they spread the word concerning what had been told them about this child, and all who heard it were amazed at what the shepherds said to them. But Mary treasured up all these things and pondered them in her heart. The shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all the things they had heard and seen, which were just as they had been told.”

Luke 2:16-20
