Torch Family Music stirs up patriotic feelings in every American heart today with a beautiful rendition of ‘God Bless The USA.’
It would not have been possible to enjoy the freedom and security we cherish today without the sacrifices of our brave servicemen and women who have given their lives for the country.
‘God Bless The USA,’ one of the most iconic patriotic songs, was written and recorded by American country music artist Lee Greenwood and first appeared on his 1984 album, You’ve Got a Good Love Comin’.
If tomorrow all the things were gone
I worked for all my life
And I had to start again
With just my children and my wife
The song was played at the 1984 Republican National Convention with President Ronald Reagan and First Lady Nancy Reagan in attendance, and it gained greater prominence during the Gulf War in 1990 and 1991 as a morale booster.
I thank my lucky stars
To be living here today
‘Cause the flag still stands for freedom
And they can’t take that away
‘God Bless The USA’ reminds us of our blessings as Americans. As we enjoy the benefits of this great country, let’s also pray for the safety of all those serving at home and abroad.
