We give back to God to express our gratitude for the blessings in our lives and to acknowledge that everything we have ultimately comes from Him.
However, this belief can be difficult for children to grasp, as was the case with this young boy whose funny moment with the offering basket was caught on camera. He was about to learn a valuable lesson about proper church protocol.
As the offering basket made its way down the row, the boy dropped his dollar in with a sly smile but quickly decided to take it back. His observant grandma, however, swiftly slid it right out of his hand and back into the basket. It was a gentle reminder that once we give to God, it’s best to leave it in His hands.
