Firefighters And Police Pull Off ‘Fawntastic’ Rescue Of Baby Deer Stuck In Storm Drain

Firefighters and Police rescued a baby deer from a storm drain and are calling it the most “Fawntastic” rescue of the year.

A firefighter squeezed himself into the drain at Crespi and Barcelona Drives and was able to save the fawn.

He says he petted the newborn a few times to reassure it and make it feel comfortable, before he pulled it from the drain.

The rescuers had to be really careful so that the fawn wouldn’t get hurt during the pulling process.

The ‘hero’ firefighter who rescued the fawn has been on the job for just 3 months!

The fawn was left at a neighbor’s yard where it would meet its mother.

Verse of the Day

“So they hurried off and found Mary and Joseph, and the baby, who was lying in the manger. When they had seen him, they spread the word concerning what had been told them about this child, and all who heard it were amazed at what the shepherds said to them. But Mary treasured up all these things and pondered them in her heart. The shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all the things they had heard and seen, which were just as they had been told.”
