Firefighter Finishes Yard Work For 90-Year-Old Man Who Collapsed

A Plano Firefighter got an emergency call to help a senior citizen who collapsed while working in his yard. Firefighter Rance Pringle stepped up and went above and beyond to help him. He took it upon himself to finish the yard work for the elderly man, while others were giving aid to the 90-year-old man inside the house. Despite the hot weather, this hero firefighter did his best for a man in need.

“Just help someone. If you see someone in need or if they need help if they’re having a bad day, just try to be a bright spot on someone’s day. It doesn’t take much effort. It’s pretty easy. I think just the effort alone… makes all the difference in the world,” said Pringle.

Verse of the Day

“[Psalm 18] For the director of music. Of David the servant of the LORD. He sang to the LORD the words of this song when the LORD delivered him from the hand of all his enemies and from the hand of Saul. He said: I love you, LORD, my strength. The LORD is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.”

Psalm 18:1-2
