EDS Awareness Song ‘The Old Me’ Shares A Powerful Message

Ehlers-Danlos syndrome (EDS) is a group of genetic connective tissue disorders that mostly affect the skin, joints, and blood vessels.

Rachael Wilson wrote about her struggles with EDS, and with the help of her friend Elizabeth Joy, it turned into a beautiful melody titled ‘The Old Me.’

The song describes the struggles and challenges faced by a person with EDS. It is not just an awareness song, but it also brings hope, faith, and inspiration to those who are suffering from EDS.

Verse of the Day

“Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows. Whoever sows to please their flesh, from the flesh will reap destruction; whoever sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life.”
