The EastIdahoNews.com team is behind the giveaway to deserving people and families every day from now until Christmas day.

Shane McCann works at Cloverdale Elementary School in Ammon and is raising four children and looking after his wife who has fragile health issues.

Shane is able to work only during those hours when his kids are in school, and as non-certified half-time positions are not paid enough to support a family of six, his life is not easy at all.

Shane works as a playground and cafeteria aide so he can be home with his kids in the afternoon and makes sure they are safe every day, he also helps teachers at school and does whatever he can with his circumstances.

Secret Santa wanted Shane and his family to have the giveaway so they sent the EastIdahoNews.com elves over to surprise him at school!

Verse of the Day

“Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord. This will be a sign to you: You will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger.” Suddenly a great company of the heavenly host appeared with the angel, praising God and saying, “Glory to God in the highest heaven, and on earth peace to those on whom his favor rests.””

Luke 2:11-14
