The word of God says that we should not fill ourselves with alcohol but with the word and the spirit of God.

Drinking alcohol leads you to drunkenness which is a sin before God. When you are drunk, you find yourself doing things that you wouldn’t have done when sober.

Jesus Christ himself drank wine on occasions, but He didn’t allow himself to be drunken. We should be sober in the Lord, not be drunken with alcohol.
