Little Boy With Down’s Syndrome Serves In His ‘Favourite Shop’ At Tesco

A kind Tesco manager in Great Horton, Bradford invited a 10-year-old boy with down’s syndrome to serve behind the cash register after he spotted him playing in a closed lane.

45-year-old David Burke was shopping with his son Jay who has down’s syndrome at his ‘favourite shop’, when things went out of control.

During the check-out, Jay wandered over to an empty till and started playing with it. The supermarket manager James spotted him. But instead of being angry, the kind-hearted man opened the lane for Jay.

“For you know that it was not with perishable things such as silver or gold that you were redeemed from the empty way of life handed down to you from your ancestors, but with the precious blood of Christ, a lamb without blemish or defect.”
