On a freezing night in Auburn, Massachusetts, K9 Biza, a heroic dog, followed a scent for over two miles to find a missing 12-year-old child.
The search began late at night on January 31, 2024, followed by a call about a missing 12-year-old child.
Last seen in the Pakachoag Hill area, the child ventured out into the cold, sparking urgent efforts to find them. Amidst falling snow and biting cold, K9 Biza and Officer Ljunggren stepped into the night, embarking on a mission filled with hope and divine guidance.
Biza, with his exceptional sense of smell, faced the winter’s fury head-on. Snowflakes and icy gusts could not deter him. His nose led the way, navigating through snowy trails and frostbitten fields.
The search covered over two miles, a remarkable distance that highlighted Biza’s dedication and skill. As they moved closer to the child’s last known location, evidence suggested they were on the right path. Then, guided by Biza’s keen instincts and perhaps a touch of divine intervention, they found the child safe and sound.
The Auburn Police Department celebrated this incredible rescue, expressing gratitude for K9 Biza and Officer Ljunggren’s hard work. “We are proud of the hard work put in by K9 Biza and are happy to report a positive outcome,” they shared, acknowledging the miraculous effort that brought the child back to their family.
