An unbelievable story of a dog named Ping Pong, saving a buried newborn baby, is taking the internet by storm.
Ping Pong was in a farmer’s field in northeastern Thailand, when he discovered something and began barking and digging.
This caught the attention of his owner, Usa Nisaika, who went to see what the dog was digging up and then he spotted something which covered him in chills.
He spotted a baby’s leg coming out of ground, where Ping Pong was digging, Nisaika joined in and unearthed a 5.2lb buried newborn baby.
It was nothing short of a divine intervention because after taking the baby to hospital, doctors said the baby was in perfect health with hardly any injuries.
Ping Pong’s owner said he was very proud of him and he has been loyal and obedient, since he was born.
The authorities have discovered that the baby belongs to a 15-year-old girl who dumped him there because of an unwanted pregnancy.
They have arrested the young mother for attempted murder, but she told police she buried her baby out of fear of how her parents would react to it.
A police officer said that the girl is in the care of a psychologist and her parents as she is in great fear and regrets what she did.
The girl’s parents are interested in raising the baby now but welfare workers aren’t convinced yet.
In the meantime, the young mother is being given all the emotional help she needs at this time.
“Police officers are preparing to prosecute the mother but she is also a child and we must consider her mind and be professional. It is important that she is nurtured and treated fairly,” the Governor says.
God used a dog to rescue the buried newborn baby, but Ping Pong too is a survivor of a gruesome near death experience.
A car had hit him when he was a young pup which has resulted in him having only three working legs, but that has not held him back.
“Everybody in the village is amazed by what he has done now,” Usa Nisaika said. “He is a hero because he saved the life of the baby.”
