91-Year-Old Dances In Hospital After Spinal Surgery

A 91-year-old woman stunned hospital staffs and thousands around the world with her dancing skills.

Julia Tourtellotte was in her 40’s when she took up the North American tap dance, clogging and now she’s giving lessons at her local senior center. But when a leg pain began to slow her down, Julia realized she needed some medical attention.

Soon Julia approached Trident Medical Center and met with Dr. Sabino D’Agostino, a neurosurgeon at the hospital. Julia underwent a robotic spinal surgery to reduce the pain and bring her back to dancing.

Few months after the surgery, she returned to the hospital to meet with Dr. D’Agostino. It was then Julia decided to perform an impromptu dance right there in the middle of the hallway. And the hospital staffs can’t stop joining with her. The video went viral and this 91-year-old has become an inspiration to many.
