Bongino opened up about the tragic event, saying, “My mom died last night — unexpected. She fell down a flight of stairs. And I found out earlier this morning.” Overwhelmed with emotion, he revealed that he was informed of his mother’s death around 4:43 a.m. Interestingly, he had been awake since something unusual had occurred an hour earlier, compelling him to discuss it with his wife.

Addressing those strange experience, Bongino expressed, “For those of you who don’t believe in God, I’m not here to judge you. But I want to tell you something. I want to tell you in advance, I’m not crazy, OK?”

He described the moment with vivid clarity: “At 3 a.m. in the morning, someone grabbed me. Like hugged me — like a mom.” Bongino shared. Despite often having trouble sleeping and just having gone to the kitchen for water, he was fully awake when he felt this embrace.

Describing the encounter, Bongino said, “It was real. I’m telling you, it was real. I actually jumped up. I know it sounds crazy, but I was looking for my gun. And I started looking around the house.” After realizing he was alone, the experience provided him with a profound sense of peace and comfort and strengthened his connection to God.

Bongino passionately concluded, “I’m telling you, if you don’t believe in God and the afterlife, I would after last night. You’re free to believe whatever you want, obviously. … I’ve never believed more in the power of Jesus.”

Verse of the Day

“Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord. This will be a sign to you: You will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger.” Suddenly a great company of the heavenly host appeared with the angel, praising God and saying, “Glory to God in the highest heaven, and on earth peace to those on whom his favor rests.””
