Many of us end our day with prayer. It helps us slow down and remember that God watches over us.
Children can remind us how simple and honest prayer can be. They speak without worry and trust that God hears them.
Even if their words are few, their faith is clear. We all need that kind of trust when we talk to God.
In the short clip, the girl cradles an orange and cream-colored cat in her arms. She begins to pray while sitting quietly before bed. The cat stays still, even though it looks a bit squished. It doesn’t try to leave or wiggle free.
The girl mentions “daddy,” “mommy,” and “Hannah” during her short prayer. Then she ends it with a strong “amen!”
