‘Madly in love’ would be the appropriate way to describe what Brett Stidham is feeling because when it came to him making a lifelong declaration of love he made it in a criminal fashion.
His girlfriend is Tiffany Allison who is a probation officer and house arrest coordinator and works for Justice Network in DeSoto County, Mississippi.
Allison and Stidham have been dating for about two years and has been a sober guy right up till now.
So when Allison entered the courtroom recently she was covered in chills to see her beloved Stidham being brought before the judge at Mississippi’s Hernando Municipal Court.
But what was to follow would make any girl weak in the knees, because he delivered a stirring speech which reduced Allison to tears, and then he dropped down to one knee and proposed right there on the spot in front of everybody.
“I’m guilty… of being madly in love with the girl of my dreams,” Stidham solemnly informed the room. “She’s my best friend, and I’ll forever be in love with her.”
It turned out later that everyone in the courtroom knew about what he was planning except for Tiffany.
“Tiffany is really good friends with her supervisor,” Stidham said. “So I revealed my plan to her, and asked if there was any way she could help.”
After his heart stirring confession of love and proposal, the happy couple is now served a sentence to a shared lifetime of love.
