Jesus used to love being around fishermen in the Bible and told them one important thing, to follow Him and He will make them fishers of men.
Today one fisherman is sharing an important message on mental illness using a boat and a fish.
Clay is an outdoorsman from New Zealand who shares life lessons online, and here he is talking on the topic of mental health in a very awesome way.
Clay is in his boat as he catches a fish and uses that moment to show us how to reach out in our time of need.
Clay writes on his video description, “A problem shared is a problem halved. This year in New Zealand we have had the highest rate of suicide ever. It kills me every time I hear that another soul has left us because their burden was too heavy to carry. Talk to someone and share that burden. Talk to you parents, your teachers, your friends or call help line. You are not alone.”
Clay hits the nail on the head when he says that you need to talk to someone and that you are never alone. Even if we feel like there is no one for us, we should reach out to anyone around us and share whatever we are going through with them.
