It’s an amazing experience to hear a choir performing a song. But what about hearing a huge crowd of people singing an iconic song? In this stunning event, 1,500 voices created a breathtaking rendition of ‘Hallelujah.’

Choir! Choir! Choir! is a community singing group started by Daveed Goldman and Nobu Adilman. Known as DaBu, they aim to bring the joy of singing to everyone, regardless of musical background. They create a space where people can experience the joy of singing together.

Leonard Cohen’s “Hallelujah” is a song that has touched many hearts. Its deep lyrics and haunting melody capture a range of emotions. The song speaks to our struggles and moments of grace. It has become a song for those seeking comfort and inspiration.

On June 11th, 2016, Choir! Choir! Choir! invited 1,500 singers to the Hearn Generating Station in Toronto for the Luminato Festival. It was a magical evening with voices united in song.

DaBu taught the backup parts of ‘Hallelujah’ to the participants, preparing them for a memorable performance. Everyone knew they were about to be part of something special.

Rufus Wainwright, a well-known musician, joined the choir on stage to sing the lead. His presence added a special touch to the evening.

The performance was indeed epic. As the first notes of ‘Hallelujah’ filled the air, the audience held their breath in shared anticipation. The voices blended together to create a heavenly cover of ‘Hallelujah.’
