The worship leaders all part of the Acapella Ministries Worship Leader Institute 2019, were visiting the restaurant and decided to sing Bill Withers’ classic ‘Lean on Me.’ They were soon joined by other diners and restaurant workers and a video of it is going viral and bringing joy to millions around the world.

Sometimes in our lives we all have pain
We all have sorrow
But if we are wise
We know that there’s always tomorrow

Lean on me, when you’re not strong
And I’ll be your friend
I’ll help you carry on
For it won’t be long
‘Til I’m gonna need
Somebody to lean on

In these challenging times, it’s uplifting and refreshing to see people lifting up the name of God in public places.

Verse of the Day

“[Psalm 18] For the director of music. Of David the servant of the LORD. He sang to the LORD the words of this song when the LORD delivered him from the hand of all his enemies and from the hand of Saul. He said: I love you, LORD, my strength. The LORD is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.”

Psalm 18:1-2
