Dontarius J. Young is extremely proud to be American, and wanted to show his gratitude to our military, so on Veterans Day of that year, he sang a cover of “God Bless the USA” in front of the entire restaurant.

The video of his performance went viral and has been viewed over 21 million views within a week of it being posted.

Young said, he never thought the song would get so much coverage as it did. “Wow! I am truly overwhelmed!” he wrote on Facebook.

“I have always been very patriotic and have always loved to sing! The fact that God’s favor is being shown to me and in such an apparent way, literally leaves me speechless!”

“1,000,000 views!” he went on. “Thank you all so much! I’m so excited to see what is in store and I am very grateful to have been blessed with so many beautiful and loving people in my life! It’s only up from here, I still believe!!!”

This guy surely needs to be in the music industry with his amazing vocal abilities.

Verse of the Day

“And there were shepherds living out in the fields nearby, keeping watch over their flocks at night. An angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were terrified. But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people. Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord.”
