Butterflies land on bride’s dress in an incredible moment at a Cape Cod wedding.
We all know weddings are special days filled with love and joy, but sometimes God blesses us with moments that are truly miraculous.
That’s exactly what happened at Amy Rose Perry’s recent Cape Cod wedding, where a tribute to her late father turned into an unforgettable display of God’s love and presence.
Amy’s father, Nathaniel Machain, passed away from cancer when she was just seven years old. Despite his early departure from this earthly world, he made sure his daughters would always feel his love.
Before his passing, he wrote cards for all of life’s big moments, including Amy’s wedding day.
On her special day, Amy planned to release monarch butterflies as a symbol of her father’s enduring spirit. But our Lord had an even more beautiful plan in store!
Instead of flying away, the butterflies gently landed on Amy’s dress, her husband Matthew’s boutonnière, and her sister’s bouquet. It was as if her father was right there, walking her down the aisle!
Wedding photographer Brit Perkins captured this breathtaking moment, sharing it with the world. The video has now been viewed over 23 million times.
Amy shared, “I have never felt his presence more in my life.” Isn’t it amazing how God works? He used these delicate creatures to show Amy that her father’s love is still with her, just as our Heavenly Father’s love is always with us.
