Bus Driver Helps Elderly Man In Distress By Giving Water From His Lunch Cooler

A bus driver’s act of kindness towards a dehydrated elderly man is touching hearts all over the internet

Mike Blair has been a bus driver for the past five years. He is working for the Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada.

On Monday, Blair noticed a 92-year-old passenger struggling in the heat.

“This one gentleman would not board the bus. He seemed like he started to grasp the wall and seemed to be in distress.” said Blair.

The kind bus driver helped the elderly man board the bus and placed him next to the air conditioner. He then gave him a bottle of cold water from his lunchbox. Soon the elderly man was back on his feet and on his way.

“He got off the bus and said ‘Thank you.’ As he got off he said, ‘I’m 92 years old.’ Simply amazing,” Blair said.

A passenger snapped the photo of Blair’s act of kindness and posted it on Twitter.

Verse of the Day

“[Psalm 18] For the director of music. Of David the servant of the LORD. He sang to the LORD the words of this song when the LORD delivered him from the hand of all his enemies and from the hand of Saul. He said: I love you, LORD, my strength. The LORD is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.”

Psalm 18:1-2
