Kristin Owens and Brian Powers were supposed to marry one month later in a magical ceremony. But they changed the plan when Kristin’s mother Cheryl was admitted to Indiana University Health West Hospital. She was suffering from stage 4 kidney cancer and the chemo treatment was not working. Doctors concluded Cheryl had only weeks to live. But Kristin wanted to marry in the presence of her mom. So the couple decided to have the wedding, Right at Cheryl’s bedside.
