The clip shows the family circle the “baby bear” with their boat, and getting close enough to pull off the plastic jug from the animal’s head. “We saved our little bear!” Hurt exclaims moments after the bear is freed. “Swim happy!”

Hurt went on to say that the bear made it safely to shore. Wisconsin is home to a thriving black bear population, around 24,000 bears, live in the northern part of the state.

Never dreamt we would ever do this in our life time. Out on Marshmiller Lake yesterday with Brian Hurt and Brady Hurt when we spotted this poor bear. He made it to shore after all that.

Verse of the Day

“And there were shepherds living out in the fields nearby, keeping watch over their flocks at night. An angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were terrified. But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people. Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord.”

Luke 2:8-11
