Blind Boy Sings ‘How Great Thou Art’

A blind boy is praising God with a beautiful rendition of ‘How Great Thou Art.’

Parker Brown was diagnosed with Norrie Disease at the tender age of 5 weeks. He has congenital blindness and is at risk for hearing loss as well.

His parents Felisha and Matt Brown did not give up but in December 2013, Parker was started on speech therapy at the Therapy S.P.O.T. in Statesboro, Georgia which provides speech, physical, and occupational therapy in a fun and child centered atmosphere.

Parker has shown gradual improvement and a hunger to learn and is now attending a mainstream school while still attending therapy sessions.

Parker’s graph has been going onward and upward since going for therapy and his story and achievements are a boon to many people.

His mom shared a video recently of him in the car which has since gone viral, having been watched by 6 million people.

The little boy can be seen belting out ‘How Great thou Art’ at the top of his lungs in the backseat of the car.

We thank God for restoring back to Parker all that was stolen from him and we know that He has a great plan and purpose for his life.

Verse of the Day

“he made known to us the mystery of his will according to his good pleasure, which he purposed in Christ, to be put into effect when the times reach their fulfillment—to bring unity to all things in heaven and on earth under Christ.”

Ephesians 1:9-10
