A mother’s Facebook post about her son’s unique experience with Santa has captured the hearts of many.
In California, Theresa Hudson shared her son Matthew’s extraordinary encounter at Santa’s workshop. She whispered to Santa that Matthew was blind and autistic and very interested in Santa. Santa’s response was incredibly touching. He immediately sat on the floor to welcome Matthew.
Santa and Matthew had a meaningful interaction. Santa encouraged him to feel his beard, hat, and red suit. Matthew was curious about Santa’s twinkling eyes, mentioned in ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas. Santa kindly let Matthew touch his eyes.
Santa then asked Matthew “Have you ever felt a real reindeer.”
He took him to see a taxidermy reindeer and let Matthew pet it. This moment was special for both Matthew and his mother.
Theresa expressed in her Facebook post how full her heart was seeing Matthew so engaged and happy.
