The Bible is incredibly deep and rich with 66 books spanning thousands of years of history, prophecy, poetry, and teachings. Many of us spend our entire lives studying its pages and still discover new insights with each reading.

We often need someone to help us understand what matters most in these sacred texts. Jase did exactly this with his simple explanation about the core of God’s word.

Dressed in jeans and a t-shirt with his well-worn Bible in hand, the Louisiana native broke Scripture into three main parts.

Old Testament: God’s promise of a coming Savior.

He explained that the Old Testament—from Genesis through Malachi—reveals the first key truth: Jesus Christ is coming to earth.

“The law books are there to prove to us that we are flawed,” Jase stated, showing that these texts reveal our need for a Savior.

The New Testament: The Savior Has Come

For the New Testament, Jase pointed out how Matthew through John show the fulfillment of Old Testament promises: “God in Human form is on the earth. He’s here!

These four Gospels display God’s great love through sending His Son to die for our sins.

Romans to Revelation: The Savior Will Return

The final part of Jase’s summary focused on Romans through Revelation, which he explained clearly: Jesus is coming back. This promise gives believers hope for eternal life with Him—the ultimate goal of God’s plan for us.

What makes Jase’s summary so powerful is both its simplicity and truth. He took thousands of pages of God’s Word and distilled it into three basic truths that form the foundation of our faith: Jesus came as promised, lived among us, died for our sins, rose again, and will return.
