It was the Adventure Racing Championship in Ecuador, 2014. The Swedish team of four were covered in mud, exhausted and desperately hungry. They sat down for a meal and when the opened their canned meat, Mikael Lindnord, the captain of the team noticed a scruffy stray dog staring at him. He gave the dog a meat ball. Then the team continued their race, but the dog didn’t left them. It did all the grueling tasks the team faced and followed them 430-miles. They named him Arthur. It was really hard for Lindord to leave Arthur, so he decided to adopt him. And finally Arthur, the stray dog found a new home.
