Boy With Down Syndrome Dances Up A Storm, Leaves Judges In Tears

A Down Syndrome dancer brought the house down on the show The Greatest Dancer with his epic moves.

21-year-old Andrew was born with Down Syndrome but that hasn’t stopped him from living his best life. As a young boy, he used to watch British dancing competition, Strictly Come Dancing and would recreate the dance moves while standing in front of the television.

Andrew loves to perform ballet, contemporary and ballroom and decided to take part in the dance show, The Greatest Dancer. This show lets dancers from all ages and genres compete for the prize money with a chance to appear on Strictly Come Dancing.

The format of the show is that, at first the dancer performs hidden behind a wall, and the audience has to vote on their audition. If the dancer gets higher than 75% audience votes then the mirrored-wall opens and the dancer moves on to the next round.

Andrew was on top of his game when he began dancing to ‘Can’t Stop The Feeling’ from Justin Timberlake, and won over the judges and audience with his amazing dance moves and precision. It was so good that judge Cheryl broke down in tears because she was so moved by Andrew and his zeal for dance.
