Doctors Advice Couple To Abort Their Baby At 19 Weeks, But They Put Their Trust In God

The Christian couple who refused to abort their baby and decided to trust God are now rejoicing and praising the Lord for their decision.

The couple Tatyana and Timothy Ramjohn were told that their unborn child would have severe disabilities because the chances for a healthy life were too slim.

In 2019, Tatyana was just 19 weeks pregnant when her water broke, which caused the doctors to warn them about her life being in danger if she wouldn’t abort and the possibility of infection to the baby.

But the couple decided to give their baby a chance despite the risks involved. So Tatyana agreed to remain on bed rest for the entire time of her pregnancy. Timothy recalled that time saying, “We were handed a list of abortion clinics because at 19 weeks the chance of survival is 0% if she went into labor, in addition, an infection or hemorrhage can put her life at risk,” he said.

“Despite all the risks and advice, Taty decided to trust God and remain pregnant on bedrest without any fluid in the womb. All we had was faith,” he continued. The Ramjohns welcomed a beautiful, healthy baby boy born prematurely at 27 weeks on April 15, 2019, they named him Easton, and even the doctors acknowledged him as a “miracle boy.”

Timothy shared about him on Instagram, “We have a long road ahead, but we are more than confident that God will see us all the way through. What a gift!!!!! Thank you, everyone, for your prayers and support; we really felt it,” Timothy wrote. Tatyana had to wait for 10 days to hold Easton but it was the most joyful moment when she did. Easton went on to spend 4 months in the NICU, and then eventually went home with his parents.

Timothy Ramjohn wrote, “123 restless days of around the clock care, prayers and love in the NICU we finally get to bring him home. We’re also extremely grateful for all the doctors and nurses at Memorial Regional Hospital for caring for my wife and Easton while in utero and for so those of you that has supported us,” Timothy wrote.

We’re going home!! No one can tell me that our God isn’t a miracle worker! When Tatyana Ramjohn water broke in February…

Acknowledging their prayer support and God’s work in their lives, he wrote, “Words cannot express our gratitude. This journey is far from over, but we’re glad to be home and grateful to have so many of you walking with us along the way. Thank you, Jesus, for this miracle and thank you Taty for your sacrifice.”

Meanwhile, Easton has overcome challenges like using a feeding tube and wearing a helmet due to medical requirements, but now he’s transformed into a handsome and strong little boy.

Easton is now an elder brother as the Ramjohns welcomed their second son, Cannon, on May 4, 2021. Tatyana and Timothy have always kept their faith at the forefront of everything in their life, and that’s why they could stand strong in their resolve not to abort Easton.

May we always learn to keep God’s word first in our lives like the Ramjohns and trust in Him unconditionally for everything.
