Triplets Sing Uplifting Christian Song ‘A Broken Prayer’

The Foster Triplets from Jamaica presents an uplifting song ‘A Broken Prayer’ from their album, Grace Carried Me Here.

A Broken Prayer by the Foster Triplets

A broken prayer is still a prayer.
We know the Lord will be right there, when we cry.
A fragile praise is still a praise, it will be heard when it is raised to the sky.
We don’t need words of eloquence when we talk to him,
’cause the Savior is concerned with every care.
He hears a broken prayer.

When you can’t pray cause you can’t say the things you feel inside.
Your thoughts are scattered like the shattered pieces of your life.
You don’t have to wait any longer.
Just bring all your troubles to the Father.

There is a place that’s always safe, a refuge from the rain.
Where you will be covered with his love and his unfailing grace.
He longs to shelter you with arms of mercy.
Though you think your prayer is so unworthy.

The petition may not seem like much for us to offer up.
But bring up to him anyway.
He loves it when we trust.

They have also shared a note saying “Prayer is the opening up of the heart to God.” It doesn’t have to be grammatically correct, lengthy or flamboyant. Just speak the word, the groan, or cry. The Holy Spirit interprets that broken prayer and connects it to our Heavenly Father’s heart through the intercession of Jesus. Send up your broken prayer today.

Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you. I Thessalonians 5:16‭-‬18 (NKJV)

Verse of the Day

“[Psalm 18] For the director of music. Of David the servant of the LORD. He sang to the LORD the words of this song when the LORD delivered him from the hand of all his enemies and from the hand of Saul. He said: I love you, LORD, my strength. The LORD is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.”

Psalm 18:1-2
